About me

I am an incoming Political Science Ph.D. student at Northwestern University. Brazilian born and raised, I have lived and worked in multicultural environments in China and the US. I hold a Bryn Mawr College bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Growth and Structure of Cities, with a concentration in Peace, Conflict and Social Justice Studies. I have experience in academic research, women’s rights/human rights advocacy, college application tutoring and operations. I consider myself a lifelong scholar with a passion for social justice. I am looking to build a career in academia and my main interest is Political Theory – particularly using Feminist and Decolonial Theory to analyze International Relations and Public Policy.
